Stay Curious ~ Find Hope
I’ve been dying to share this story with you--stick with me--it’s kinda weird, but was really amazing!
A few weeks back, I had gotten a migraine-link headache (called occipital neuralgia) and felt SO out of sorts. It hurt to move, I was extra clumsy and felt super week and brain foggy.
For three days, I had to cancel things
--like knitting with a friend!--because I just wasn’t up for it. Have you ever felt like that?
Well, you may find this next bit fascinating, and I invite you to try it out for yourself next time you feel out of sorts. It can’t hurt to try, and you just may learn something! If you are new to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Acupressure, or Muscle Testing you can learn more here.
On the third day, I sat there trying to figure out how to get better, I did a little muscle testing. I discovered my normal flow was reversed--everything was working backwards in my system. No wonder I felt so crappy.
I googled how to switch the flow of energy and found this. Basically, pressing a few acupressure points.
I used the yoga collection of oils--applying Anchor to my feet, Align to my solar plexus, and Arise to my forehead.
Then I drank some water and followed the directions here: easy reverse polarity correction and rubbed those energy points.
I kid you not. Within 10 minutes, my headache was gone,
my energy was back, my body was more coordinated, my brain had cleared and I was able to clean and reorganize my office and go hiking with my family the next day. This was after 3 days of awful. It was WEIRD. And super cool.
Our bodies are more fascinating and more resilient than we give them credit for.
And when we are open to explore possibilities and try simple and inexpensive (or free!) things, we can sometimes find answers and incredible relief--and get our lives back.
I share this to offer hope.

Try new things and pay attention to your body and mind as it responds. You will be surprised at what you discover!
One final post-script to my story. A friend of mine was dealing with the same kind of headache and out of sorts feeling yesterday and I told her about the points to press. I forgot to tell her I applied oils and drink water! She said she felt woozy and nauseous after pressing those points. When I reminded her to drink water (water conducts electricity, remember) and apply oils--so supportive for our bodies, she did it again and began to feel better.
